Hi. I'm BBlayZ, a singer & songwriter. I vibe on writing songs that blur the lines between fantasy and reality. My songs and productions are, more and more as time goes on, explorations of the fringe and beyond . . . but with a human story at the center, usually my human story.
I've lost track of how many songs I've written but it must be well over a thousand, with my most recent ones, North Star and Zombie King reaching numbers 17 and 13, respectively, on MUSIC WEEK'S COMMERCIAL POP/CLUB CHART. I've also been fortunate to have been on CDPool 12 times on packages with people like Beyoncé, David Guetta, Doja Cat, Drake, and a bunch of other amazing artists.
I think every artist has their own way of creating. All my tracks, even the biggest ones in the charts that people are dancing to in the clubs, start out as simple songs — just me, my guitar, and my voice. My words come from my own life experiences and paint pictures, like movie scenes, of people going through wild twists and turns of life. Imagine standing on the edge of a cliff a mile high, ready to bungee jump. You let go of all the old stuff and then land in this beautiful, brand-new world. It’s kinda scary but super thrilling. Everywhere you look, there's a door. A fresh start and an exciting new journey waiting. That’s the circle of life, right?
That's what my music's all about. And when you listen and go inside, it becomes your personal magic carpet ride, taking you places and feeling things you wouldn’t get anywhere else.
To me, music isn't just notes; it's life, love, freedom, and all that good stuff.
